Nobody Denim and Showroom-X collaborate on special FibreTrace Capsule
Nobody Denim and luxury Australian digital retailer Showroom-X have collaborated on a special 6-piece FibreTrace capsule collection of completely traceable denim garments made from cotton sourced from the world’s first carbon positive cotton farm in Australia, Good Earth Cotton.
Nobody Denim and Showroom-X share a commitment to supporting local industry and creating a sustainable business model through a shortened supply chain with innovation at the forefront of both businesses.
The 6-piece capsule is steeped in classic denim silhouettes – reworked for the new woman.
Showroom-X Creative Director Kelly Atkinson said: “FibreTrace provides complete transparency to the supply chain, they have essentially taken a critical look at the fashion industry and worked to find innovative solutions to make it better. We worked so close with John & the Nobody team during the #WeWearAustralian campaign and when we discussed launching denim on Showroom-X they were obviously our first choice. When they then gave me the chance to help design my own styles specifically for our customer I was super excited. “ This is Kellys first dip into the design world and we are so proud we really captured the core values of Nobody denim’s DNA, and added an element of Showroom -X luxury to the cuts and silhouettes.
“Creatively, for the shoot to tell the story of our collaboration we wanted to show a journey of discovery. A road trip to connect to the earth again, to oneself and back to basics. We wanted this campaign shoot to be as natural and honest as possible. There is no retouching on the imagery – almost everything was shot in or around 'magic hour' to get the sun's natural glow.” - Kelly Atkinson, Showrrom-X Creative Director
